Mr. James J. Sanders Frankfort - Mr. James J. Sanders, 79, of Sixth Ave passed away Friday, July 7, 2006 in Mohawk Valley Nursing Home. He was born in Frankfort, NY on December 19, 1926, the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Bess Simmons Sanders and he attended Frankfort schools. Mr. Sanders was a Structural Steel Worker for Iron Workers Union, Utica for many years. He was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church. Jim is survived by one sister, Margaret Laurie of Lewiston, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph Sanders Jr, George Sanders KIA WW11 US Army and Lester Sanders. His funeral will be held Saturday morning August 19, 2006 at 11:30 am in All Souls Chapel Of Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Elizabeth St., Frankfort with the Rev. John Yanas officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. His funeral arrangements were entrusted to the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
